The school was built by Alfred Baldwin in 1882 and has been a sanctum of safety and education for children ever since.

Our Trust exists to support schools, in achieving and nurturing the talent of all children.

At Wilden, we have a commitment to providing outdoor learning opportunities for all children across the broad curriculum.
Wrap Around Offer
Our before and after school provision provides wrap around care for children from 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM.

Uniform
At Wilden, all our pupils take pride in the school uniform they wear, always looking smart and ready to learn.
Attendance & Punctuality
Attendance to school is directly linked to children outcomes and pupils must aim to be on time and ready for learning.
Assessment
Progress & Monitoring
Continually developing ways of assessing children to secure progress including tracking and progress meetings.
SATs
Standard Assessment Tests are used to evaluate each child’s educational progress at the end of years 2 and 6.
Formative Feedback
Checking each child’s understanding in an effective way in order to guide actions for further progress.
Support
Safeguarding & Safety
Within our school, we promote an environment and culture of keeping all our whole school community safe and well cared for.
Pupil Premium
Children who are eligible for the pupil premium grant receive additional support in a variety of different ways.
Sports Premium
Sports premium is a government backed funding initiative aimed at helping primary schools improve their physical education and sport provision.
SEND
The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities of children at Wilden are met through enhanced provision and support.
Early Help
Early help is the first level of support offered to children and families when difficuluites arise.

Home Learning
